WMD is really two devices, a cell phone and laptop, compacted into one small container. These Smart Phones offer most of the programs your desktop does including; Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. In addition when needed these devices can connect to laptop to provide internet access.
When combined with an Exchange Server (included as part of Windows Small Business Server) your Windows Mobile Device can atomically synchronize with your Outlook Application. This allows employees to have up to the minute Calendaring, Contacts and Email information. If you have recently purchased a Windows Mobile Device and have a Bluetooth enabled notebook, these instructions will help in setting up your phone as a tethered wireless modem.
